Curriculum Vitae and Publications Dr. Florian Idelberger

Florian Idelberger is a research associate at FIZ Karlsruhe - Leibniz Institute for Information Infrastructure in the field of intellectual property rights. His research focuses on the interfaces between law and technology, in particular NLP and AI in legal informatics as a method and object of investigation. He also uses this expertise to deal with regulatory issues in the field of technology regulation and licensing law. He holds a PhD from the European University Institute (EHI) on the use of controlled natural languages for contract automation. Previously, he studied at the European Law School in Maastricht (LL.B) and at the University of Lund (LL.M in European Business Law).
As a member of the program committee, he contributes to the scientific work for the International Conference on Artificial Intelligence in Law (ICAIL). He is also a member of the Legal Network of the Free Software Foundation Europe (FSFE) and ifrOSS (Institute for Legal Issues of Free and Open Source Software) and was co-editor of the Glossary of decentralized technosocial systems of the Internet Policy Review.
