Curriculum Vitae and Publications of Dr. Madhurima Deb

Dr. Madhurima Deb is a Senior Researcher at the Mathematics department of FIZ Karlsruhe in Berlin with Moritz Schubotz. She is working in the MaRDI project in the development of the MaRDI portal and its functionalities. In 2023, she received her PhD in Nano Technology from the Centre of Research in Nano Technology and Science, Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, India. After receiving her Master’s degree in Nano Science and Technology from Jadavpur University, Kolkata, India, in 2017, she worked as a PhD scholar under Prof. Shobha Shukla in the Metallurgical Engineering and Materials Science Department from 2017-2023. With a comprehensive academic background, she possesses nearly 7 years of interdisciplinary research experience. Her research endeavours span diverse domains, including the development of electronic sensor prototypes for monitoring toxic heavy metals or gases, characterization techniques for morphological and elemental analysis of nanomaterials, and the design and implementation of innovative solutions for environmental remediation. Proficient in scientific writing, Madhurima is a motivated and efficient team player with a strong commitment to achieving goals with conclusive results. With a keen interest in environmental applications, she has contributed significantly to the development of graphene-based material for heavy metal sensing as well as waste water remediation. Her commitment to research excellence is evident in her academic achievements, collaborative projects, and proficiency in  programming languages such as Arduino IDE for microcontroller programming and R for statistical computing and data analysis.
