FIZ Karlsruhe participates in research assessment reform processes

By signing the CoARA (Coalition for Advancing Reseach Assessment) and DORA (Declaration on Research Assessment) agreements on the reform of research assessment, FIZ Karlsruhe has committed itself to a common direction for changes in assessment practice for research, researchers and research organisations. The overarching goal of the reform is to improve the quality and impact of research.

The CoARA agreement contains principles, commitments and a timeframe for the reforms in the signatory organisations. It also sets out principles for a coalition of organisations that are willing to work together to implement the changes. FIZ Karlsruhe will develop and implement an action plan for implementing the principles of the CoARA Commitment.
